Livo, the Linux TV Recorder V2 (AJAX-ified). Here's an update of a sourceforge package I released a while back. This web app uses php to gather television listings from the web and record program you select. To use livo you need, a webserver that runs php, a tv tuner card, mencoder and atd (at daemon to schedule jobs).

Livo opens a stream to tv.yahoo.com to gather the listing and uses that data to create a new display (a bit of an improvement over yahoo if you ask me) Click on any listing to schedule a recording. You can specify bitrate, tuner frequency, color adjustment, as well as other recording parameters. The demo is available at http://bogdanmarian.com/livo/

An AJAX calendar. This simple calendar utility requires no database and can run off a flat file. A live version is available for you to test. If you would like to beta test this software on your local machine fill out the contact form.

Motion.py is a motion detection and image compositing tool and tutorial using the python imaging Library PIL. The step by step tutorial illustrates how to detect if motion has occured over a set of frames (images) view tutorial.
